Has the NBA G League season been suspended or canceled?

Effective March 12th, 2020, the NBA G League temporarily suspended the 2019-20 season in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. This decision was made to safeguard the health and well-being of fans, players, everyone connected to our game and the general public. We intend to resume the season, if and when it becomes safe for all concerned. As we receive more information regarding the future of this season, we will provide updates to our fans, partners and ticket holders.

What happens if the game is postponed?

Tickets that have already been purchased for a postponed game will be honored when the game is rescheduled. Ticket holders should retain their tickets for a future date to be announced. The Maine Red Claws will update fans, partners and ticket holders as new information is released by the NBA G League.

What happens if the game is cancelled or rescheduled to be played without fans?

If a postponed game is ultimately not played or played in an empty arena, fans who already purchased tickets to such  a game through an authorized seller of Red Claws tickets will receive a direct communication from the Red Claws ticket office that will provide detailed information on ticket options, including information on how to receive a refund.

If you purchased single game tickets through an authorized seller of Red Claws tickets:

Single game tickets that have already been purchased for a postponed game will be honored when the game is rescheduled.

If such game is ultimately not played or played in an empty arena, fans who purchased single game tickets through Ticketmaster, Ticketmaster affiliates (including NBAtickets.com), or the Red Claws Box Office will receive a refund. THis applies to Verified Resale Tickets through Ticketmaster as well.

If such game is ulitmately not played or played in an empty arena, fans who purchased single game tickets directly from the Red Claws should contact us through our general sales line at tickets@maineredclaws.com to determine available ticket options.

If you purchased tickets from the secondary market (e.g. Stubhub, Vivid Seats):

For fans who purchased tickets from the secondary market (i.e., a source other than directly from the Red Claws, Ticketmaster, or another authorized seller of Red Claws tickets), we recommend you contact that merchant directly. Please be advised that you will be subject to the postponment and cancellation policies of such merchant’s respective marketplace.

Season Ticket Members:

Tickets in your Season Ticket Membership for any postponed game will be honored when the game is rescheduled. If any such games are not played or played in an empty arena, we will apply a credit for such game(s) to your 2020-21 Season Ticket Membership.

Mini Plans:

Tickets in your Mini Plan Package for any postponed game will be honored when the game is rescheduled. If any games are not played or played in an empty arena, we will apply a credit for such game(s) to your 2020-21 Mini Plan Package or a future Red Claws game.

Group Leaders:

Group tickets and Groupmatics tickets already purchased for any postponed game will be honored when the game is rescheduled. If the game is not played or played in an empty arena, you will receive a direct communication from the Ticket Sales Department outlining available ticket options.
