- The Maine Red Claws are committed to ensuring a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience for all guests at the #MaineGoesGreen event at the Ocean Gateway (14 Ocean Gateway Pier, Portland, ME 04101) on Monday, May 24, 2021. With new guidelines due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we require that everyone entering the venue commit to the following:
- Wear a mask over your nose and mouth. All guests are always required to wear masks at the #MaineGoesGreen event, except while actively eating or drinking as permitted. Masks must completely and tightly cover the wearer’s nose and mouth. Neck gaiters, bandanas, masks with valves or vents, and any covering with only a single layer of cloth are not permitted. Face shields may not be worn in place of a face mask, though may be worn in addition to a face mask. If you have a medical condition that prevents you from wearing a face mask, please notify tickets@maineredclaws.com at least two (2) business days prior to the event to make accommodations.
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after using the restroom, before eating and after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing. Alcohol-based hand sanitizer will be widely available throughout the venue for use as well.
- Physically distance to the best of your ability while in and around the venue.
- Be respectful of all event policies, including COVID-19 health and safety protocols. Guest failing to adhere to event policies may be asked to leave the event.
- Perform a symptom check. While proof of vaccination and/or a negative COVID-19 test result are not required to attend the event, all guests are asked to perform a temperature check and symptom check, and complete the #MaineGoesGreen Safety Survey on the day of the event prior to entering Ocean Gateway.
- STAY HOME IF SICK- You may not attend the event if:
- Within the past 72 hours, you have been sick or have experienced symptoms associated with COVID-19 (such as fever, a sore throat, chills, cough, shortness of breath or breathing difficulty, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion, runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea or any other symptoms associated with COVID-19 identified by the CDC).
- Within the past 10 days, you have experienced any COVID-19 symptoms, unless you have taken and received a negative COVID-19 test result and any and all COVID-19 tests taken since symptoms began have been negative.
- Within the past 14 days, you have been in close contact with an individual suspected or known to be infected with COVID-19 (unless it has been 10 days or more since such exposure and you have not experienced any symptoms).
- Within the past 10 days, you have tested positive for, or have been diagnosed with, COVID-19 (unless you have received clearance from a physician to discontinue isolation).
- Within the past 14 days, you have been directed to self-isolate or quarantine by a healthcare provider or local public health official due to having had close contact with an individual infected with COVID-19.
- You are awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test taken following your experience of any COVID-19 symptoms, or close contact with anyone suspected or known to be infected with COVID-19.
- You have entered Maine from another state or jurisdiction and have not complied with Maine’s COVID-19 travel guidance.
- Individuals must have tickets to enter the #MaineGoesGreen event, and tickets are non-transferable. Guests will be asked to display their mobile ticket upon arrival.
- All tickets are mobile only – your mobile phone is your ticket! How to access your ticket(s):
- Go to https://am.ticketmaster.com/celticsgleague/#/ and tap on the “Profile” icon.
- Log in using the email address and password tied to your Maine Red Claws account.
- Tap the “Menu” icon in the top left corner.
- Tap “Manage Tickets.”
- Select the #MaineGoesGreen event.
- Present QR code to representative at the entrance for entry.
- Ticketed guests are asked to arrive at the time designated on their event ticket (i.e., 10 a.m. or 11 a.m.). Please enter Ocean Gateway through the venue’s main entrance, using the doors on the far left, and exit through the venue’s main entrance using the doors on the opposite end. This designated entrance and exit will help minimize contact and crossover with other guests.
- Everyone plays an important role in facilitating a safe environment at the event. If you begin to feel ill during the event, encounter any health or safety concern, another guest is interfering with your enjoyment of the event, or any guest needs assistance, please notify an associate of Maine Red Claws or Ocean Gateway.
- If you are unable to attend the #MaineGoesGreen event for any reason, please note that we will be offering two (2) live streams of the event announcement on the Maine Red Claws Facebook page. The live streams are scheduled to begin at 10:25 a.m. and 11:25 a.m. on Monday, May 24, 2021.
