BOSTON, Mass. - Two-Way players Amari Williams and Ron Harper Jr. scored their first NBA points in a Boston Celtics uniform on Saturday night.
It's the second regular season game that Williams and Harper Jr. have appeared in this year, and the first for both players in front of Celtics fans at TD Garden. The Celtics lost on Saturday night, 128-101 to the Houston Rockets.

Now in his fourth season, Saturday's contest marked Harper Jr.'s 13th appearance in an NBA game. With 5:06 left in the fourth quarter, Harper Jr. scored his first points as a Boston Celtic off an assist from his fellow Two-Way player in Williams. Harper Jr. would play 10 minutes on Saturday, recording two points, three rebounds and three assists. The last time Harper Jr. scored in an NBA game was on April 13, 2025, when he scored four points as a member of the Detroit Pistons.
The Two-Way connection continued when Williams scored the first basket of his NBA career with 1:48 remaining in the game on a six-foot hook shot, assisted by Harper Jr. On Saturday night, the 23-year-old center recorded two points, one rebound, one assist and one steal in six minutes. The rookie center was selected by the Boston Celtics with the 46th overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft.

As Two-Way players, Williams and Harper Jr. will split time between Boston and Maine this season. The Maine Celtics begin their NBA G League season on November 7 against the Greensboro Swarm.
