During this time his role and responsibilities varied from project management to client services to business development and sales where he worked with clients such as the NBA, MLB, USTA, and McDonalds among others. He received his B.A. in Business Management from Rice University where he also was a member of the men’s basketball team. Dajuan and his family have lived in Portland since 2005.

Evans Boston, Sr. Director, Public & Community Relations

Evans Boston joined the Maine Red Claws in October 2014, but is very familiar with the team. Evans has been covering the Red Claws since their inception as a member of the media. For the previous 7 years, Boston served as a sports anchor and reporter for WGME in Portland. His departure from WGME coincided with Will McClaran’s acceptance of a job with the NBA’s New Orleans Pelicans. The timing was perfect, and Boston was thrilled to join the Red Claws front office. Boston is a Maine native, a graduate of York High School in York. Boston graduated from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism. Boston was a key reserve player for the York High School freshman basketball team, and a star bench player on the baseball team as well.

Ben Keller, Manager of Ticket Sales and Game Operations

Ben joined the Red Claws in August 2018. He worked the past 12 years in Minor League Baseball with the Columbus Clippers, Triple-A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians. Ben began his career in ticketing with the Columbus Blue Jackets of the NHL. Born and raised in Ohio, Ben graduated from The Ohio State University and is an avid Buckeye fan. He is very excited about living in Portland and looks forward to making Maine his home.

Peter Duggan, Vice President, Business Development

Peter joined the Red Claws in 2018 from the world of hockey, where he was Sales Manager for the Detroit Red Wings of the NHL. He spent the past year helping launch the new Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, which is the new home of the Red Wings and Pistons. Peter has over 20 years of sports and entertainment experience across several major sports outlets across the country, including the NHL, NFL, NBA, MLS and NCAA. A native of Ohio, Peter attended Miami (OH) University. Outside of sports, Peter is passionate about philanthropy and film/filmmaking, starting his own production company, 11 Productions. He also was the Executive Director of the Minnesota Film Festival and most recently a Producer on the independent feature film “Galveston.”

Kimberly Donovan, Manager of Operations

Kimberly recently joined the Maine Red Claws in January 2018.  As our Manager of Operations, she is responsible for the overall operational needs including Bookkeeping/Accounting, Human Resources, and Retail Merchandise Inventory along with other front office duties. She brings knowledge and proficiency in all facets of payroll operations including taxation, accounting, management, and human resources.  In 2005, Kimberly passed the American Payroll Association exam to earn the designation of Certified Payroll Professional, which puts her among the top ranks of the payroll profession. Kimberly is a Native of Maine who resides in Lisbon Falls with her boxer Brody. She has three grown sons and two amazing grandchildren. She attended college at Mid-State College in Auburn, ME and Coastal Carolina Community College in NC.

Jonathan Merrill, Account Executive

Jonathan is excited to return to the Maine Red Claws and the Pine Tree State. A native of Augusta, he had been working for the past 3 years as Group Sales Manager for the Washington Wizards and Washington Capitals as part of Monumental Sports in Washington, D.C., and claims to be a 2018 Stanley Cup Champion, simply by working there when the Captials won the Stanley Cup. He does not have a ring to show for it. Merrill started his career with the Red Claws as an intern while he was still in college at the University of Maine, where he graduated with degrees in Mass Communication and Political Science. Merrill also received a Master’s Degree in Sports Industry Management from Georgetown University, and owned and operated LobsterME, a Maine lobster distributor in the greater Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

Joe Quinlan, Account Executive

Joe is a 2016 college graduate who is excited to be a member of the Red Claws front office. After graduation, Joe started his career in sports as an inside sales representative for the Red Claws. In Joe’s short time with the Claws, he has been promoted to an Account Executive position. Joe is an avid New England sports fan and is excited to make a positive impact in the community he grew up in.

Eddie Molinari, Director of Basketball Operations

Raised in Londonderry, NH, Eddie Molinari has spent most of his life playing and studying basketball. After high school he decided to pursue other interests, but his love for the game brought him back into coaching. He was an assistant for the NH Fastbreak 15u team and did some youth coaching and training prior to becoming a Red Claw. Eddie worked as an intern for the Red Claws in 2014 and returned to work under former Director of Basketball Operations, Cam Twiss, as a coach in the summer camps and clinics. After graduating from Franklin Pierce University in May 2016 with a BS in Sports Management, Eddie took over Cam’s position for the Red Claws while Cam moved on to Charlotte to work for the Hornets and the Greensboro Swarm.

Brenna Sicard, Coordinator of Marketing and Game Operations

Brenna recently joined the Red Claws after graduating from the University of New England in 2018 with a BA in Political Science and Sports Management. While finishing her degree, Brenna interned with the Athletics Department at UNE and helped to run Game Day Operations for all sports. Brenna was a member of the field hockey team at UNE and is now one of the assistant coaches. She looks forward to working with the Red Claws Organization and learning more about the industry she is so passionate about.
