Harper Jr. named to All NBA G League Third Team

PORTLAND, Maine. - Ron Harper Jr. has been named to the All NBA G League Third Team, the league announced on Tuesday.
Harper Jr. appeared in 18 NBA G League games with the Maine Celtics (all starts) where the fourth-year forward averaged 25.4 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.2 blocks in 31.2 minutes per game. He participated in the Castrol Rising Stars and Kia Shooting Stars challenges at 2026 NBA All-Star Weekend.
During Tip-Off Tournament play, Harper Jr. led the NBA G League in scoring at 26.9 points per game on 49.7% shooting from the floor in eight appearances for Maine. On November 21, Harper Jr. erupted for a career-high 46 points against the Delaware Blue Coats, the fifth-most points scored in a single game in franchise history. Harper was later named the NBA G League Player of the Week on November 25. He scored 30 or more points in eight games this season.
On April 4, Harper Jr. saw his Two-Way contract converted to a standard deal with the Boston Celtics. Harper Jr. has appeared in 27 games (two starts) for Boston this season, averaging 3.3 points and 1.5 rebounds in 10.0 minutes per game. Converted to a Two-Way contract on Oct. 16, 2025, the 25-year-old scored a career-high 22 points to go with three rebounds and two assists at San Antonio on March 10.
This is the fourth consecutive season that at least one Maine Celtics player has made an All NBA G League Team. JD Davison was a First Team selection in 2025, and a Third Team selection in 2024. Mfiondu Kabengele and Luke Samanic both earned Second Team honors in 2023.
