WASHINGTON - For the second time in three games, Jordan Walsh posted a new career high in points as the Boston Celtics beat the Washington Wizards 146-101 on Thursday night.
Walsh was a perfect 8-8 shooting from the field for a career best 22 points to go with seven rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block in 29 minutes of action. His only miss of the night came from the free throw line, where Walsh shot 5-6 on Thursday. As a team, 146 points is a new season high for the Celtics.
"I thought Jordan set the tone for us on both ends of the floor," Boston Celtics Head Coach Joe Mazzulla said postgame.
On November 30 against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Walsh posted new career highs with 14 points and 11 rebounds in 38 minutes. He's now started 10 consecutive games for Boston. The Celtics have won five of their last six games and are 8-2 in their last ten contests. Boston is now 13-9 overall.
Walsh is one of 13 players on the Boston Celtics who has experience playing in the NBA G League. The third year forward out of Arkansas played three games with the Maine Celtics in 2024-25, including two postseason games. His most recent appearance with Maine helped the Celtics advance to the NBA G League Eastern Conference Finals with a 19 point, 11 rebound double-double in a win over Westchester on April 3, 2025. Overall, Walsh has played in 51 games while on assignment with the Maine Celtics.

Boston Celtics Two-Way player Ron Harper Jr. logged nearly five minutes against the Wizards on Thursday night. Harper Jr. went 0-3 from the field for zero points, one assist, one steal and one block. Harper Jr. has appeared in four games with Boston so far during the 2025-26 season. The Celtics Two-Way player currently leads the NBA G League in scoring at 29.2 PPG.
While Boston has won eight of their last 10, the Maine Celtics are winners of six consecutive games. Maine will bring that winning streak home to the Portland Expo for two games against the College Park Skyhawks on December 6 and 7. Tickets are available here.
