Juwan Morgan Signs 10-Day Contract With Boston Celtics

BOSTON CELTICS SIGN JUWAN MORGAN TO 10-DAY CONTRACT

PORTLAND, ME – The Maine Celtics, presented by Unum, announced today that forward Juwan Morgan has signed a 10-day contract with the Boston Celtics.

This is the second GATORADE Call-Up for Morgan, and the 10^th Call-Up to the NBA earned by a Maine Celtics player this season. Morgan signed a 10-day contract with the Toronto Raptors on Dec. 23, playing in one game during that time. Morgan also has two years of NBA experience with the Utah Jazz, playing in 50 games over two seasons from 2019-21.

Morgan, a 6-7 forward out of Indiana University, has played in 33 games for Maine this season, including 23 starts. Morgan has averaged 12.3 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game, while shooting 52.9% from the floor. He recorded a 20 point-11 rebound double-double in yesterday’s win over Fort Wayne, and was within one assist of a triple-double (20 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists) in a win over Delaware on Mar. 20.
