KISSIMMEE, Fla. - The Maine Celtics face a tough test against the East-leading Osceola Magic this weekend as the Celtics continue to make a push for the postseason.

Maine (13-15) currently sits in 11th place in the Eastern Conference standings and is one game back of the eight and final playoff spot. Osceola is first in the Eastern Conference with an 18-7 record. Maine will face the Magic on Sunday at 3 p.m. and again on March 10 at Silver Spurs Arena.

The last time the Celtics and Magic met on the same floor was in the 2025 Eastern Conference Finals, where Osceola defeated Maine 135-122. The Magic would eventually fall to the Stockton Kings in the NBA G League Finals.

Osceola is led by Two-Way players Jamal Cain, Colin Castleton, and Alex Morales. Morales is second on the team in scoring at 17.8 PPG. Lester Quinones leads the Magic in scoring at over 22 PPG. Former Maine Celtic Phillip Wheeler is averaging 15.1 PPG for the Magic and is coming off a 27-point effort in Osceola's last game on March 3, a 113-106 overtime win over Sioux Falls.

Maine hasn't seen game action since March 1 when the Celtics ran away from the Windy City Bulls in a 122-97 victory. Keon Johnson paced Maine with 21 points, matching a season-high to go along with a season-best 10 rebounds. Hason Ward posted 16 off the bench, and Jalen Bridges poured in 14 on 4-5 shooting from three.
