SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Maine Celtics will tip-off a three-game road trip against the Sioux Falls Skyforce on Wednesday at the Sanford Pentagon. The Celtics will face the Skyforce, the G League affiliate of the Miami Heat twice in three days.
Maine (10-8) and Sioux Falls (10-8) enter the two-game series with the same record and both teams owning the eighth spot in their respective conference standings. Wednesday's game will stream live on NBAGLeague.com at 7:30 p.m. The Celtics and Skyforce will play again on Friday, February 6 at 8 p.m.
The Celtics have lost two of their last three and went 2-3 in their recent five-game homestand at the Portland Expo after falling to the Westchester Knicks 117-110 on Sunday. Ron Harper Jr. scored 31 points and added 12 rebounds to lead the Celtics in a losing effort. It's the sixth game this season that Harper has scored 30 points or more. Kendall Brown shot 9-11 from the floor and added 20 points in just under 25 minutes.
Myron Gardner, Vladislav Goldin, and Jahmir Young are the Two-Way players for the Miami Heat. Young was most recently named the NBA G League Player of the Week after putting up 32.3 PPG and 10.3 APG during a 2-1 stretch for the Skyforce. Young is second in the G League during the regular season in scoring at 26.6 points per game.
Maine Two-Way player Ron Harper Jr. is ninth averaging 24.3 points per game. Harper was recently named to the 2026 Castrol Rising Stars event on Friday, Feb. 13 at NBA All-Star 2026 in Los Angeles.
Harper Jr. is the second Maine Celtics player to be selected to compete in Castrol Rising Stars. Last season, JD Davison also participated in the annual showcase of premier young NBA talent. Harper Jr. will compete with six other select NBA G League players against teams of first- and second-year NBA stars.
Maine will play one more on the road against the Iowa Wolves on February 7 before returning home for two games against the Motor City Cruise on February 11 and 12. Tickets are available here.
