CELTICS ANNOUNCE 2026 NBA SUMMER LEAGUE ROSTER AND SCHEDULE
BOSTON – The Boston Celtics announced today their roster and schedule for the 2026 NBA Summer League, which will take place July 9-19 at the Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
The Celtics’ Summer League slate tips off on July 10 against the Toronto Raptors (9 p.m. ET on ESPN) with returning Celtics guard/forward Hugo González and center Amari Williams headlining the 2026 NBA Summer League roster. Celtics assistant coach Amile Jefferson, entering his fourth season with the franchise, will assume head coaching duties.
González, who became the third Celtic ever to start a game before turning 20, enters his second season with Boston and is set to make his second Summer League appearance after averaging 10.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.8 assists in four Summer League games in 2025. Williams,also entering his second Summer League with the Celtics, returns to Las Vegas after posting averages of 6.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in four games at 2025 NBA Summer League. Boston’s 2026 NBA Draft picks, forward/center Chris Cenac Jr. (27th overall) and forward Dillon Mitchell (40th overall), are set to make their first professional appearances in a Celtics uniform.
Each team will play at least five games at 2026 NBA Summer League, with the first four contests taking place from July 9-16. Once those games wrap up, a semifinal doubleheader will be held July 18 on Prime Video. The two winning teams from the semifinal games will meet in the championship game on July 19 on ESPN. The 26 teams that do not advance to the four-team playoff will play a fifth game on July 17, July 18, or July 19.
