2025-26 Maine Celtics season by the numbers

PORTLAND, Maine. - It was another thrilling and successful season for the Maine Celtics in 2025-26. Take a look at some of the significant numbers that help explain the 16th season in the franchise's history and the 25th NBA G League season.

0 - The Maine Celtics made national headlines when Boston Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum practiced with the team in February as part of his recovery from injury. The All-NBA wing took part in segments of a Maine Celtics practice assignment, marking the next step in a long and demanding rehab process.

1 - The 2025-2026 season marked the first season for Phil Pressey as Head Coach of the Maine Celtics. Pressey became the first Maine Head Coach to be a former Maine player. The former NBA guard played at the Portland Expo while on assignment from the Boston Celtics during the 2014-15 season.

3 - The number of GATORADE Call-Ups to the NBA for Maine Celtics this season. Wendell Moore Jr. signed a Two-Way contract with the Detroit Pistons early in the season on November 10. On February 6th, Tosan Evbuomwan agreed to a Two-Way deal with the Charlotte Hornets. Hayden Gray earned his Call-Up late in the season with a multi-year contract with the Utah Jazz on April 11. Gray scored six points in Utah's regular season finale against the Los Angeles Lakers. Moore Jr., Evbuomwan, and Gray are the 24th, 25th, and 26th NBA Call-Ups in franchise history.

4 - Maine qualified for the postseason for the fourth consecutive season. During that span, Maine has reached the Eastern Conference Finals twice, and the NBA G League Finals once in 2024.

7 - In Boston's regular season finale on April 12, seven former Maine Celtics led Boston to a 113-108 win over the Orlando Magic. Baylor Scheierman recorded a new career-high with 30 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists. Ron Harper Jr. scored a career-high 27 points, and John Tonje recorded a new career-high 13 points. Max Shulga made his first career NBA start.

9 - On December 10, the Maine Celtics won their ninth consecutive game, a new franchise record. Maine's winning streak was during the Tip-Off Tournament portion of the season, with the Celtics going undefeated from November 14 to to December 10.

10 - The Boston Celtics signed Two-Way guard John Tonje to a 10-day contract on Feb. 19. Tonje averaged 18.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in 11 games with Maine.

13 - Ron Harper Jr. had a breakout season in both Boston and in Maine. Harper earned All NBA G League Third Team honors. He  appeared in 18 NBA G League games with the Maine Celtics (all starts) where the fourth-year forward averaged 25.4 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.2 blocks in 31.2 minutes per game. He participated in the Castrol Rising Stars and Kia Shooting Stars challenges at 2026 NBA All-Star Weekend. On April 4, Harper signed a standard contract with the Boston Celtics. Harper appeared in 29 regular season contests with Boston, including three starts.

27 - Including the Tip-Off Tournament and Regular Season, the Maine Celtics concluded the 2025-26 season with a 27-23 record, securing a winning season for the sixth consecutive season, dating back to 2019-2020.

43 - On November 23, 2025, Maine rallied from a 23-point deficit to beat the Delaware Blue Coats 129-119. Maine dished out a franchise record 43 assists on 50 made field goals.

44 - On March 15, Max Shulga's Two-Way contract was converted to a standard contract with the Boston Celtics. Selected in the second round of the 2025 NBA Draft, the Ukraine native averaged 15.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 6.4 assists in 39 NBA G League games with Maine.

46 - Ron Harper Jr. scored a career-high 46 points against the Delaware Blue Coats on November 21. The 46-point performance is the fifth-most points scored in a single game in franchise history. The Two-Way Player also added a career-high eight assists to go with seven rebounds, while shooting 7-14 from beyond the arc. Harper also scored the game-winning basket with :01 remaining and would later be named the NBA G League Player of the Week. Keon Johnson also scored 43 points for Maine on March 16, and John Tonje poured in a 42-point effort on March 10.

77 - Amari Williams was the first Boston Two-Way player to have his deal converted to a standard contract. The 2025 second round draft pick inked his deal with the big club in February. Williams appeared in 28 games with Maine, averaging 15.8 points, 10.9 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 1.8 blocks per game. 5.0 assists per game ranked second among G League centers.

99 - Hayden Gray set a new single season franchise record for steals on February 28 against the Windy City Bulls, Gray surpassed Kadeem Allen's record of 76 steals set during the 2017-2018 season. Gray snagged 79 total steals during the Regular Season, which ranked second in the NBA G League this season. In total, Gray recorded 99 steals in 2025-26 before earning his Call-Up with the Utah Jazz.

188 - Hason Ward became Maine's all-time blocked shots leader in his second season with the Maine Celtics. Ward blocked 75 shots in 2025-26, bringing his career total up to 188, surpassing the previous record of 134, which was set by Mickey Jordan in 35 games.
