All 30 NBA teams have once again descended upon Las Vegas for NBA2K26 Summer League. It’s the time for all NBA teams to give their new draft picks and younger players some serious run as the clubs look to shape their training camp rosters for the fall. Fans will get their first glimpse at top draft picks in NBA uniforms, including #1 overall pick and Maine native Cooper Flagg.

For the Celtics, all three 2025 NBA Draft selections – Hugo Gonzalez (First Round, #28 overall), Amari Williams (Second Round, 46th overall), and Max Shulga (Second Round, 57th overall) – will wear Celtics green for the very first time. All three have potential to play in Maine this season, and Maine Celtics fans will be anticipating their debuts when the Celtics take the floor for the first time on July 11.
As of July 10, there are 13 former Maine Celtics who will be dressing for this Summer League, including three on the Boston roster:

Miles Norris
The versatile forward signed a two-year, Two-Way contract with Boston last winter. Norris played in 8 games for Maine in 2024-25, averaging 14.5 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. He then went on to average 20.7 points per game in the NBA G League Playoffs, helping Maine reach the Eastern Conference Finals for a second straight season. Norris is slated to be back in Maine on his Two-Way this fall.

Jordan Walsh
A Second Round selection by Boston in 2023, Walsh is back in Summer League for a third season, and is Boston’s most experienced player. After playing in 43 games for Maine in 2023-24, Walsh played in just one game in the Regular Season last year, as well as two of Maine’s playoff games. The athletic guard says he is looking forward to leading the Celtics this summer.

Baylor Scheierman
Scheierman was the final pick of the First Round in the 2024 NBA Draft. The shooting guard honed his skills last season in Maine, playing in 25 games and averaging 19.4 points on 37.7% three-point shooting. The work in the G League paid off; by the end of the season, Scheierman found himself right in the middle of Boston’s rotation. He will look to add to that confidence in his second Summer League stint.
Former Maine Celtics on other Summer League rosters (As of July 10):

James Banks III – Charlotte Hornets
Banks has played for Maine the past two seasons and this will be the big man’s second trip to Summer League with Charlotte.

Tristan Enaruna – Cleveland Cavaliers
A standout for Maine in last year’s rookie season, Enaruna returns to Cleveland where he finished his collegiate career (Cleveland State).

Kylor Kelley – Orlando Magic
The shot-blocking machine was part of Maine’s G League Finals run in 2023-24. Kelley played for South Bay last season before signing a Two-Way contract with Dallas.

DJ Rodman – Charlotte Hornets
A coaches’ and fan favorite, Rodman joins Banks on Charlotte’s roster. Maine added Rodman mid-way through last season, and his energy on both ends of the floor sparked the Celtics to their playoff run.

Dmytro Skapintsev – Portland Trail Blazers
The Ukrainian big man will suit up for the team he finished last season with – Skapintsev started 2024-25 with Maine before getting traded to Rip City mid-season.

Jaden Springer – Utah Jazz
The former Boston Celtics guard played one game for Maine during the 2023-24 season. Springer was a part of Boston’s NBA Championship team that year. He was traded and eventually signed by Utah last season.

DJ Steward – Los Angeles Lakers
One of the stars of Maine’s Finals run in 2023-24, Steward is back at Summer League with the Lakers. The flashy guard played for both Windy City and Memphis last season, and was on a Two-Way contract with the Bulls.

Hason Ward – Oklahoma City Thunder
Ward was the only player to play all 50 games for Maine last season. The forward capped off his rookie season averaging 7.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 2.2 blocked shots per game.

Anton Watson – New York Knicks
Watson was a late Second Round pick by Boston in 2024 and started last season on at Two-Way contract. He then joined the Knicks on a Two-Way deal after getting waived by Boston. He averaged 12.1 points in 37 games for Maine in 2024-25.

Phillip Wheeler – Indiana Pacers
Wheeler joined the Maine Celtics late in the season via a trade with Texas. He made an immediate impact down the stretch, and earned a 10-day contract with the Philadelphia 76ers.
While some players are under contract with their NBA rosters, the majority of Summer Leage players are not, and there is no guarantee they will be on a training camp roster in the fall. For the players that return to the NBA G League and whose Returning Player Rights are still controlled by Maine, it is very possible that they could be back at the Expo in 2025-26, regardless of which NBA Summer League team they suit up for this July.
