Celtics Clash with College Park on Monday Night

COLLEGE PARK, Ga. - The Maine Celtics will look to get back in the win column on Monday when they play the first of two games against the College Park Skyhawks.
Maine (4-4) is currently fifth in the East division of the NBA G League Tip-Off Tournament. College Park (5-3) is currently third while Greensboro remains atop the East division standings at 7-1.
The Celtics are hoping to bounce back after suffering a 118-110 loss in Delaware on Saturday night. College Park is the final stop in a four-game road trip for Maine before the Celtics return home to face Greensboro on Saturday, December 7.
Maine will be shorthanded in Monday night’s game as they will be playing without Jay Scrubb and Ron Harper Jr., who are both on the injury report against College Park. Two-Way Players JD Davison and Drew Peterson were also on assignment with Boston in Sunday night’s game in Cleveland.
In Saturday’s defeat to Delaware, Davison led Maine with 34 points, eight assists, and five rebounds. He also recorded one steal, tying Maine’s franchise record for career steals of 108 set by Chris Wright.
Providing a boost off the bench for the Celtics has been Donald Carey Jr. and Tristan Enaruna, who scored 15 and 21 points respectively. Maine’s bench is averaging 42.8 points per game, the second-best mark in the G League.
SCOUTING REPORT: After nearly a full week off, College Park enters Monday’s game as losers of three of their last four games. Most recently, the Skyhawks downed Long Island 122-105 behind 28 points from Kevon Harris. Two-Way Players Dominick Barlow and Keaton Wallace added 20 points apiece in the win. Barlow is averaging 21.7 points and 9.1 rebounds for the Skyhawks this season and Harris averages 21.4 points per game for College Park. Seth Lundy, College Park's third Two-Way Player will likely be out on Monday with injury.
The Skyhawks possess a combined 298 games of NBA experience between Tony Bradley, Dominick Barlow, Kevon Harris, Seth Lundy, and Keaton Wallace. College Park is led by first-year head coach Steve Klei.
GOOD FROM DEEP: College Park made 24 3-points in a single game this season, which is the second most in an NBA G League game so far. Maine is sixth in 3-pointers attempted, averaging 43.6 per contest and ninth in shots made from distance. The Celtics are fourth in the league in field goals attempted, with over 90 per clip.
DEFENSIVE MENTALITY: The Skyhawks are among the league leaders in defensive metrics. College Park currently ranks fourth in defensive rating at 102.8. College Park has held their opponents under 100 points in four out of eight games to start the season.
REBOUNDING BATTLE: Maine and College Park are among the best in the G League in rebounds, but on different sides of the ball. The Celtics are second in the G League in offensive rebounding with 16.6 boards per game while College Park is seventh in defensive rebound (34.8).
